Seminar: Shake It Right! California's Requirements for the Seismic Qualification of Equipment

Abstract: While included in code provisions in the 2000 Edition of the IBC, the adoption and enforcement of the 2007 CBC by OSHPD and DSA has created a fresh perspective on the requirements for Special Seismic Certification of Equipment. The seminar will provide attendees with a multi faceted perspective of the issues related to Certification by Shake Table Testing, Analysis, and Experience Data by Structural Engineers representing Manufacturing, Design, and the Regulatory processes.
