Recent Awards: Achievements and Recognition: College of Fellows:
The highest honor that SEAOC bestows on any individual member of the association is entry into the prestigious SEAOC College of Fellows. Members are nominated annually by the Board of Directors of each of the four regional associations (SEAOSC, SEAONC, SEAOSD and SEAOCC) that together form SEAOC. Nominated members have shown significant contributions to the structural engineering profession and growth of SEAOC over the years. Is a person designated by the SEAOSC Board of Directors in recognition of the person's contribution to the excellence of the structural engineering profession. Induction of Honorary members began in 1995.
S.B. Barnes Research Award:
This award is given, when appropriate, to a member or members of SEAOSC for timely and needed research information, beneficial to the members of the Association.
SEAOSC Public Service Award:
This award is given, when appropriate, to a public official member who has contributed greatly to SEAOSC or SEAOC. SEAOSC Engineer of the Year Award:
This award is given, when appropriate, in recognition for the outstanding contribution to our Association, the engineering profession, and the community.
