Associate Plan Check Engineer - City of West Hollywood

Join West Hollywood's Building & Safety Division in ensuring the safety and welfare of our vibrant community. We're seeking an Associate Plan Check Engineer to review architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical plans for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities: Review plans for code compliance, provide technical guidance to design professionals and contractors, assist customers at public/virtual counters, and collaborate with City departments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture, plus 2-3 years of plan checking/project management experience. ICC/ICBO Plans Examiner certification within 6 months of hire.

Compensation: $111,061-$141,913 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including CalPERS retirement, flexible health benefits, generous time off, and 9/80 schedule option.
