S&Z Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer / Drafter to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow in structural design and drafting for residential and commercial projects.

ey Responsibilities:

Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD

Assist in structural design and calculations under supervision

Coordinate with engineers and project team members

Revise drawings based on markups and project requirements

Support permitting and documentation processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or in progress)

Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)

Familiarity with Revit (preferred)

Basic understanding of structural engineering principles

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

Internship or prior drafting experience

Knowledge of residential and light commercial construction

Compensation:

Competitive, based on experience
